In a recent survey, we learned that an alarming percentage of companies are not following up with their existing relationships. The question and answers were as follows:
Which of the following is the most effective way your company nurtures its existing business relationships?
48% Breakfast/Lunch Meetings
8% Golf Outings
7% Sporting Event Tickets
3% Fishing Trips
33% Other
The 33% that answered “Other” mostly commented that they “just provide excellent service” or ”don’t do anything”. Please keep in mind in this fiercly competitive economy: if you don’t follow-up with your relationships, your competitors will.
