American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) has partnered with jobsite123.com to provide its members with a wide variety of tools designed to facilitate business development opportunities and easy access to jobsite123.com’s “search and qualify” engine for U.S. commercial contractors.
The partnership is intended to serve both sides of the buy-sell constituency represented by the ASPE’s membership base. ASPE members who are construction buyers (i.e. estimators who work for general contractors, construction managers, facilities managers, owner’s representatives) will receive free educational webinars on the use of jobsite123.com’s search engine and prequalification tools, as well as priority notice of new features. ASPE members who are construction sellers (i.e. estimators who work for subcontractors, material suppliers) will receive free webinars on how to connect with buyers in their target market, grow their referral network, access project leads, and showcase their company’s most powerful selling tools with a qualifications profile in jobsite123.com.
“ASPE is committed to identifying new technological tools that support our mission in serving the professional development of construction professionals nationwide,” said Keith Jones, President of ASPE. “Our affiliation with jobsite123.com will ensure that ASPE members are (1) identified and recognized as professional estimators on jobsite123.com, (2) well-informed of the growing number of resources available in jobsite123.com and (3) their employers receive special discounts on company profile upgrades and other promotional services on jobsite123.com. This is an important objective for ASPE – as we are here to provide value for our members and the companies who employ them,” said Jones.
“We are proud to support ASPE members on both sides of the buy-sell equation,” said Coty Fournier, CEO of jobsite123.com. “ASPE buyers will be able to locate contractors and suppliers that provide the services they need in their desired geographic areas, and click to view helpful prequalification information. While sellers will be able to showcase their complete qualifications and key industry relationships inside jobsite123.com, including: key contacts, current and completed project portfolios, insurance coverage, bonding capacity, licenses and minority certifications, client performance ratings and the ability to cross-promote their referral network,” added Fournier.

Your Absence Speaks Louder Than Your Presence…
Jan 4, 2010 commercial construction industry, construction professionals testimonials
Brenda Burtch - Operations Manager for Elcon Electric in Pompano Beach, FL – gets the credit for this one.
Brenda was 1 of over 100 contracting professionals we asked to serve on our development committee for the beta-design of our Qual-Ports – with over 20 years of sales, marketing and operations experience in the commercial construction industry, she continues to help guide the evolution of our features and functionality. Along with Jim McConchie – President of Elcon Electric – Brenda’s team was one of the first major specialty contractors in Florida to start building a Qual-Port in JobSite123.com.
During one of our design meetings, the group enjoyed spirited conversation about the potential of JobSite123.com, and how those companies who jump on board early (and complete thier Qual-Port robustly) will be credited as early adopters and industry leaders. As the meeting wrapped up, Brenda offered some profound insight into the collective mind of our users. She said, “In a short period of time…I think your absence from JobSite123.com will speak louder than your presence.” She stopped everyone in thier tracks, and we all sat there for a minute soaking in the clarity of her words.
She was 100% right – both then and now. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

Neil Hammack, Vice President / Project Executive of Moss & Associates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida comments on the significant impact that JobSite123 will have on the Commercial Construction industry.
A transcript of speech excerpts:
“I met Coty and Craig several years ago. I was one of the “100″ that they came and did the introduction to and I was involved in critiquing the whole process and I can tell you that I’ve seen the company evolve dramatically. It’s going to revolutionize [the commercial construction] industry and I think there’s even more to come.
When we talked about bringing JobSite123 to the west coast [of Florida], it was clear to me that this was the vehicle that was going to help me exponentially launch the Moss brand and I think you’ve seen how we’ve been able to do it today with what we have in the audience.
… we are thankful to Rich Armstrong at St. Joseph’s [a forward-thinking organization] who really got “it” [the impact JobSite123 is having on the commercial construction industry] and understood the power of “it” and for that we are very thankful.”
